Light and music in the woods at the CAIN Comfort Chalet with the original Menhirs by Essenze di Luce

Design meets nature in the Val di Non at the Cain Comfort Chalet, a chalet at 1400 metres altitude a few kilometres from the village of Fondo, which has chosen the original Menhirs by Essenze di Luce to illuminate and diffuse music in the surrounding greenery.

In the name of refinement and uniqueness, the Cain Chalet selected the Menhirs by Essenze di Luce both for their distinctive design and perfect integration with the architecture and with the environment, and for their resistance characteristics. The construction system of the Menhirs, entirely made by hand from marble, allows them to be installed and used outdoors in all weather conditions, making them perfect even for a mountain environment.

The anatomy of the chalet changed its original appearance during the restoration a few years ago: the Cain Chalet, the main house built in 1914 by the Holzknecht family, has seen the addition of five new open-air areas to experience the outdoors from spring to early snow. Guests can go with a meal in the outdoor kitchen, a book in the garden living room, a moment of relaxation in the spa and loungers area or a novel fitness experience at the gym in the woods. All illuminated by four Menhir di Luce Cross and a background music that follows guests around the garden, provided by nine Menhir Sound, for an exclusive stay at the highest level.

The home automation integration of the lights in all the Menhirs, connected to the main system, makes it possible to easily switch them on, off or time them. Music playback could be managed by the guests via an App on smartphones: the audio system has been designed according to the logic of subdivision by zones, within each of which it is possible to play different music at different volumes, with a perfect acoustic performance.

The aesthetic beauty of the Italian marble Italian Flowery Grey marries the white, blue and grey nuances of the mountain, and is emphasised during the evening thanks to the LED lighting integrated inside the stone, creating a scenic and emotional light perfect for the intimacy of a mountain chalet. In a place where the search for detail is unceasing, balancing elements of Trentino tradition and modern design, the hand-crafted marble pays homage to Made in Italy with outdoor lamps and sound speakers that are strictly numbered as unique pieces in the world, for shape and workmanship.
